Despite announcing that Summerslam '07 will take place at Madison Square Garden, WWE has no other shows planned for the venue at this time.

Former WCW wrestler "Squire" Dave Taylor's daughter Donna Taylor may be getting a developmental deal from WWE. Also, Dave Taylor hopes to be a part of the new ECW. He is currently training wrestlers at DSW.

Mikey Whipwreck is said to be one of the main guys WWE wants that is in a situation where he must have a long-term deal in order to do it.
Joel Gertner has signed on part-time with the ECW brand.
Dave Scherer reports that Jim Cornette has agreed to terms with TNA Wrestling and is set to become the new "authority figure".
Cornette has always been able to cut great promos and can sell storylines. This is a great asset to TNA.
Cornette was last seen writing OVW TV but was released after a student from OVW claimed Cornette verbally and physically abused him.
It has been confirmed that Jimmy "Akio" Yang has signed a new contract with WWE. Akio wrestled Charlie Haas on HEAT prior to last week's Raw tapings in Columbus, Ohio. His old Titantron video and theme music played when he made his entrance. Haas picked up the win over Akio. He is living in the Columbus, Ohio area, which is why he was there in the first place, and he was hoping to rejoin WWE.
Akio's work has always been praised - even Vince McMahon personally praised him during a meeting once - however, he was originally fired last July because the WWE creative team never had any ideas for him. Akio is probably best known for being Tajiri's bodyguard - along with Ryan Sakoda - and for his series of incredible matches with Paul London on Velocity in 2004 and 2005.
Akio will finish out his remaining independent dates before he makes his return to WWE. He may be a part of the relaunching ECW brand this time around.
PWInsider reports that Tommy Dreamer has signed a new wrestlers contract with WWE to wrestle in the new ECW. Right now it looks like he will still also continue doing his work at OVW.
Dreamer has been the one calling up all the ECW guys about contracts, and will be in charge of the new ECW alongside Paul Heyman.
